ABOUT ME

Emily Jane Penrose,

Print Designer & Maker.

Undergraduate of Design Crafts BA (Hons), De Montfort University, Leicester. As an individual, my main joy comes from working with stitch to manipulate or enhance either paper or fabric, often adding texture to the surface of selected collections of materials. I enjoy working with 'found' printed materials, recycling them by by changing and enhancing each piece using a variety of hand or digital manipulation techniques; used separately or combined together. I use these sampling pieces to either create one-off pieces or print collections.
